Trying vs Doing and Putting Forth a Wholehearted Effort

Greetings Wholehearted Ones,

We have all been there, at sometime
or another,
or if life last and time past,
will experience when asked, if something was done or will be done the response could possibly be
" I will try "or" let me see what I can do."
While trying is typically positive, it has been my experience, it is only
the mere first step ,toward really putting forth one's best effort.

There is a distinct difference between trying to half heartedly do something and being totally committed from beginning to end in giving it our best shot.
Whether its our efforts in a relationship,
job, project, or new venture
trying versus truly committing ourselves is a choice we are tasked with making.
Only we can examine the intent of our own heart when we tell someone we will try to make it to an event versus wholeheartedly committing to putting
forth every effort to be there,
however in times like these where people's word,
concerted efforts and commitment appears to be no longer a sure fire value within our mainstream society,
it behooves us to examine ourselves and
 ask the tough questions.

Are we committed to investing in ourselves,
relationships, dreams and what matters the most to us?
When we say to ourselves, or the people we love that we will put forth every effort to do or be present to whatever is needed in that given situation and relationship are we truly all in?
The next time you are asked to do something, or be somewhere, or commit before you respond think about the type of effort you want to invest in the request...will you try or wholeheartedly put forth every effort?

May the contemplation of the effort you place into what matters the most to you be the order of the days of ahead as we move into the month of March in this 2019.

We owe it to ourselves, life,  and the ones we are committed to wholeheartedly put forth our best effort and not only try but to consistently give from a whole heart.

To do anything less is to truly short change ourselves and the people who we love and close the door to our greatest potential.
