Blue Ridge State Park An Alluring Florida Beautiful Place Excursion
Tuck away from city life and the hustle and bustle of a metropolitan flow there is a stunningly beautiful park 27 miles west of Daytona Beach  in a town called Orange City, FL.   Orange City has a population of 10,599 according to the 2010 Census and its approximately 8 miles long.  In this small town of Volusia County there is a must see park that all Floridians should consider putting on their  to be traveled to in state destination.   What makes Blue Ridge State Park exceptionally special is during the winter months manatees gather in the spring. During my 2017 travel to this park I was overjoyed to see marine life in the emerald green spring water with lush trees overlooking the Spring. I have made a subsequent trip to this park in 2018 because of its charm and beauty. This park demonstrates that the ocean is not the only  place where magnificent waters abide as there is an aquifer at the bottom of the spring where fresh water flows.  What is also great about this park is the boardwalk  as you can enjoy exploring the various parts of the park while walking on evenly level ground.  
Check the forecast, pack a lunch, load up the car, fill your tank up with gas and set aside time your next available weekend to travel to Blue Ridge State Park. Who knows you may be compelled tomorrow to explore as its Labor Day. There is no time like the present to emerge yourself into tranquil beauty.  This park can be explored with or without the company of your loved ones as solitude and quietude makes it dwelling on these park grounds.
