For We Are Not Call To Rid the World of Pain However To Shine Our Light     Dear Illuminous Ones, In a time where we see some much injustice, despair and corruption one can easily become paralyzed in knowing where does one begin in being apart of the solution. When you turn on the TV and watch the local or national news, we are reminded of the ills and the wars humankind face everyday.  However in the midst of the perils of the world, we can choose to be inspired and encouraged that through the light of our kindness, and sharing the beauty within we are creating the type of world we choose to live in.  At the beginning of each day,  we have the power of choice to employ,  how we are choosing to show up in the world,  in all the Glory of Our Being. For we can choose to be empowered in knowing that at the end of our day Shining the Light of HOPE and Radiating the Love in our Heart is a step in healing the ills...

T hey are some many ways to connect in this digital 21st century world.  A s we have the means to call, text, s kype, or email people we wish to communicate in an instant.  T his is not to mention the many ways t hrough social media we can  " c onnect" with p eople.   W e can also connect with people by way o f the emotional ties and bonds that are d eveloped over time,  h owever this does not speak to being t otally present to those  w ho w e v alue and l ove.  In these days we can be connected digitally, virtually o r through kinship or sharing a past,   b ut are we committed to nurturing the n ow moments with the  o nes that we love,  w ith our undivided attention...

Dear Wise Ones,  In the hustle and bustle of our everyday lives we often make choices about what takes center stage in our day and ultimately gets our attention.  It is incumbent of us to make sure that which appears to be so pressing and urgent does not dominate  our time, focus and attention,  if it distracts us from what is most important.   A t the end of the day, that which brings us joy, and renders us the greatest internal rewards in life should be apart of our day in some way every chance we can fit it in.   F or the urgent call we must make or meeting we must attend or work/business matter that requires our time  in some form or fashion  will always be present in our life.   H owever the question becomes what will we consistently prioritize that will have our undivided attention and focus?   T hat which presents itself as urgent is not necessarily what is most important and often is an distract...

An Invitation To An Internal Break    Dear Wise Ones, There comes a place in our lives where our bodies does not crave mere good nights sleep, a hearty meal, or rigorous work-out.  However a greater yearning and internal thirst awaits and that is to simply rest.   To rest our hearts and minds from the everyday cares of the world.   T his rest emanates  from the inside in a place of ultra stillness and contentment with the inner treasures of our being.  This rest knows no bounds or respective place as you can be in your car, sitting at your desk on your job or performing a task in your home and you lean into a zone of inner stillness.  Inn er rest is when you internally still a way a moment to suspend your need for action, reflection, or quiet contemplation about your life or what needs to be done and you go within and rest .  Rest from the hustle and bustle of doing however it is an election to merely be.  ...

Clouds are beautiful. However they can be deceiving. Sometimes when we are beholding the clouds in the sky it can appear that there is nothing behind the clouds.  We can easily believe that the limit to what the eye can see and behold stops with the clouds. However I was reminded after flying recently that there is a beautiful horizon beyond the clouds.   The clouds in the sky can be representative of the barriers and obstacles or roadblocks we face in life.  Sometime all we can see is what is in front of us which can easily lead us to believe that what is in front of us is all there is.  However just like the clouds in the sky there is a vantage point  beyond the eye's view.  To behold this vision in our hearts and minds it requires that we reach beyond the clouds of our stagnant ideas about our lives and self imposed limitations.
